Meet the Mentors!

 

Marshall Comeaux

Marshall, a Dallas native, is a UT Austin graduate with degrees in Business Honors, finance, and Plan II Honors. His career in finance began with a series of internships, including with a government lobbyist, an investment bank, and two hedge funds. Currently, Marshall is a Private Equity Analyst at Bain Capital where he works in the consumer vertical. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys watching television and movies, playing trivia, and spending time with friends.

 

 

Giovanni (Gio) Ahern

Gio, an Illinois native, is a MIT graduate with degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics. His career began in data analytics with an internship as part of Aldi’s pricing division before working in a similar role at a commercial real estate startup the following summer. After that, he pivoted to finance oriented roles including investment banking and as a hedge fund summer analyst. Currently, Gio is a Private Equity Analyst at Bain Capital where he works in the technology vertical. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys distance running, watching sports, and reading biographies.

 

 

Dorene Walsh

Dorene Walsh has several years experience in the investment management and financial services industry, both as a Managing Director and a consultant. She has worked with many students applying to both undergraduate and graduate programs to develop their application essays and personal statements.

 

 

Peter Gibson

Peter Gibson has been a founder and leader of multiple technology firms. He has expertise in technology startups and building sales teams. Former Co-CEO of Knowledgent Group. Knowledgent was a Data Intelligence firm. Also former President and Co-Founder of BusinessEdge Solutions a New Jersey based Industry focused Technology Consulting firm.

Currently, Board Member, Advisor and Investor, passionate about unlocking the potential in people, teams and companies.

Peter has a degree in Computer Science and was a College Football and Lacrosse player. Peter also founded the Rutgers University Leadership Academy for Student Athletes in 2009 and also was a former Board Member of the Trenton, NJ Boys and Girls Club. He is a supporter of Catholic Charities of Boston and The Catholic School Foundation of Boston.
