At the 34th Annual Building Minds Scholarship Fund Gala, student speaker Mariana Hincapie addressed the crowd but hadn't decided where she was going to attend college at that time.

My name is Mariana Hincapie. I am a graduate from East Boston Central Catholic and now a graduate from Malden Catholic High School. I'm excited to announce I'm about to become the first in my family to go to college, and I will be continuing my education at the College of the Holy Cross.
If not for the commitment of my parents, the support of the Catholic Schools Foundation, Malden Catholic High School and East Boston Central Catholic, this would not have been possible.
The Catholic Schools Foundation continues to support me in incredible ways, and I could not be more grateful to have been chosen as a recipient of the Harrison Scholarship that will allow me to continue my education at Holy Cross. I could not be more grateful and could not be more excited to keep this legacy going as I continue to grow in the spiritual values I have learned all these years.
