Non-Scholarship Programs
City Connects Counseling
The City Connects program at Boston College provides a "systemic, high-impact, cost-effective approach to addressing the out-of-school factors that limit learning...leveraging a comprehensive range of prevention, intervention, and enrichment services that already exist in schools and communities." With grant support from the Catholic Schools Foundation, 15 elementary schools serving at-risk students are able to utilize the City Connects program to meet the academic and out-of-classroom needs of 4,750 students.
Regional School Partnership Grants
Over the next five years, CSF is committed to strengthening school sustainability and growth. To accomplish this, CSF will implement a regional approach to grant making in order to have meaningful impacts on in-need students and schools as demonstrated by the success of the Catholic Urban Partnership in Roxbury. The communities of Brockton and Lowell have been identified for regional grant making opportunities that will be shaped by school leaders' visions and collaboration.
College Readiness
The Catholic Schools Foundation is proud to partner with donors Boston College, Bentley University, and Tufts University to provide high school CSF scholarship recipients with transformative college readiness summer programs. These programs will prepare CSF scholarship recipients for college life through exposure to on-campus, residential experiences and challenging, college-level courses in varied fields, including business, civics, leadership and the arts.
