Alumni Spotlight
Last month, Sammy Cintra inspired us as our alumni speaker at our Celebration of Excellence event at PwC. Sammy shared his journey with the Class of 2025.
"Be grateful for the education, opportunities, and connections that CSF has granted you, because there are a lot of kids that do not get nowhere close to these types of experiences nor to sit in the room you are sitting in right now with all of these amazing people behind you."
Born and raised in Cuba, Sammy moved to Boston in 2011. He attended Saint John Paul II, where he faced academic challenges due to the language barrier which he overcame and thrived at SJPII. He soon attended Cathedral High School graduating Valedictorian of his class. Sammy eventually went on to Denison University. Currently, he is pursuing a career in Real Estate with the City Realty Group.
Miss the Celebration of Excellence?
On Friday, February 28th, members from our Board of Trustees, key supporters and staff joined together at PwC, in the Seaport to honor over 150 CSF Scholars from the Class of 2025 as they prepare for graduation.
During this event, we connected with our senior scholars, hearing about their aspirations, and learning about their future plans for life after high school.

Join us for the 35th Annual Building Minds Scholarship Fund Gala where we will be honoring Bain Capital.
The Gala will take place on April 3rd, 2025, at the Boston Marriott Copley Place and will be chaired by David Foss, PwC. This event offers a unique opportunity to connect with some of Boston's most influential figures across various industries.
