College Readiness Spotlight: Jhandaries’ Experience at Bentley University’s Wall Street 101 Program

Jhandaries, a recipient of the College Readiness Scholarship, had the opportunity to attend Bentley University’s Wall Street 101 program over the summer. This is a competitive program, designed for rising high school juniors and seniors, that offers hands-on experience in global finance and investing, covering topics like stocks, bonds, currencies, commodities, and cryptocurrencies.
Outside of academics, Jhandaries is a young entrepreneur who started her own business at 16. Despite facing challenges new business owners face like difficult customers and finding reliable suppliers, Jhandaries remained determined to showcase her talents with the support of her friends, family and school staff.
Attending Bentley University’s Wall Street 101 program gave Jhandaries perspective into how businesses are run, and it deepened her passion for finance. Jhandaries also gained valuable skills for the future.
Attending Bentley University has always been a dream for Jhandaries. Reflecting on the experience, she said “It was a blessing and a great experience for me at the Bentley University campus over the summer. I created friendships that still exist to this day, and we help each other in our educational fields.”

Last Thursday, the Catholic Schools Foundation (CSF) hosted its annual GO & Inspiration Scholar Breakfast, celebrating students whose dedication and potential embody the mission of Catholic education. The Guaranteeing Opportunities (GO) Program and the Inspiration Scholarship Program provide need- and merit-based tuition assistance to high-achieving Catholic school students across the Archdiocese of Boston. Catherine Egan, a senior at Fontbonne, reflected on how being an Inspiration Scholar strengthened her faith, confidence, and academic ambitions—reminding everyone in attendance of the lasting impact of generosity, faith, and community support.
